my thoughts on just about everything. everyone could use a second opinion.
I just saw the opening of Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” in crisp, clear, Real 3D. The movie totally blew me away, unfortunately it was only the visual aspect of the movie that blew me away. A few highlights here and there, but overall, the story didn’t appear to have much depth. I ended up not really liking Depp’s version of the Mad Hatter, similiar to my disliking of his portrayal of Willy Wonka. Overall, I think Burton could have done a better job with this one. Out of a 100, i would give this flim a 78, or a C+, whichever you prefer. However, visually, it was stunning, especially in 3D.
